Being with Grief

Grief is hard. In times of deep sorrow, tender feelings arise, especially during seasons when we gather together. Yet, it is possible to tend to our inner garden of emotions through simple self-care practices. Be Well Be Here has listened deeply to requests for Grief Practices to help you on this path…

Join BWBH’s compassionate communication facilitators to navigate the landscape of grief. These Being with Grief sessions mindfully co-create a sustaining space to explore how loss impacts the body, mind and spirit. Journey with us on the path of awareness through mindful listening, healing practices such as meditation or Reiki, and compassionate conversation. Arrive to simply listen and feel cared for by those who understand that grieving is an on-going process. Here is a sample of possible topics to be shared:

  • Seasons – the ebb and flow of the grieving process

  • Stepping Stones – coping with heartbreak and change after loss

  • Sensing our Stories – honoring relationships and memories

  • Self-care – ways to be with ourselves and others in times of grief

  • Simplicity – simple daily mindful practices for wellBeing

Please note: experiencing grief is not limited to losing a loved one, including pets. We might grieve the loss of our body’s way of Being, the life we had before illness, or a changing relationship. Perhaps we are grieving an aspect of our life lost due to Covid. All those experiencing grief of any kind are welcome.
