Restorative Yoga / Yoga Nidra Level I Training

Be Well Be Here collaborates with Maureen Miller of Yoga NH to offer Restorative / Yoga Nidra Level I Training for yoga teachers and enthusiasts.

The RY-YN, Level I training is open to all – you do not have to be a yoga teacher or teacher-in-training to attend. Join us to learn new ways to enrich your personal practice, and/or share the benefits with family and friends. Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra enhance happiness and joy, contribute to reduced stress, and integrate the body-mind-spirit in ways that help us deal with life’s challenges with a more positive mindset.

As Maureen shares, “Often people will comment that these restorative practices are just lying down or like taking a nap, or they can’t stay still that long. That’s exactly the point of this practice - to learn that we can be more still and reduce the negative impact of a go-go-go life on the nervous system. The practices of RY and YN help reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase calmness in the body, mind and emotions. Once people experience RY and/or YN, they understand how much yoga has to offer beyond postures - and typically make the choice to integrate these practices into their daily lives on a regular basis for greater well-being.”

Restorative Yoga / Yoga Nidra Training Level I includes:

  • What is Restorative Yoga?

  • The 8 Limbs of Yoga

  • The Mind/Body Connection

  • Asana Exploration & Sequencing

  • Language & Cueing

  • What is Yoga Nidra?

  • Guided Meditation

  • Design a class

Testimonials from Yoga NH Restorative Yoga / Yoga Nidra Training:

“This was truly one of the very best trainings I have ever participated in. Maureen is a master at bringing people together and teaching. Thank you for the past two days!! I will carry this with me always.”  ~Gloria B, OTR/L, RYT, RCYT

“Thanks Maureen for leading a beautiful & comprehensive Restorative Yoga / Yoga Nidra training. Maureen’s teaching style is engaging, safe, compassionate and wise. It was a joy to be surrounded by so many healers, full of different perspectives and a wealth of knowledge. This training enhanced my skill set and I feel prepared to start incorporating RY/YN in both my personal practice as well as my classes. I feel confident and excited to start! I can’t wait for more educational opportunities with Maureen and the Yoga NH team!” Jenni, Yoga Instructor, RYT, LCMHC

“I wanted to thank you again so much for an amazing two days. You hold a safe space and made us all feel welcome while maintaining the ethics of “True Yoga “. I learned new ways of thinking about Restorative Yoga and guiding Nidra – from you and the creative knowledge of the group collectively.  I’m excited for future workshops and seeing you again.” ~ Cathy S, Yoga Instructor, RYT
