Shelley Linso is a passionate practitioner, scholar, and advocate of mindfulness in education. For the past ten years, she has taught at Pine Manor College, a private college serving a predominantly marginalized student demographic from low-income communities, where her work bridged mindfulness, pedagogy, writing, and literature. Her instruction draws from Buddhist wisdom as she fuses philosophy and physiology to foster greater well-being. Shelley holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University and anticipates her MA in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University in Winter 2023. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) and received her 200-hour training from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA. She considers the opportunity to teach mindfulness, yoga, and well-being a tremendous gift and gives thanks to her students and teachers - many of whom have embodied both roles!
