Being with Grief

Grief is hard. Yet, after loss, we continue to Be Here on the path. Join us to tend to your inner garden of emotions through simple self-care practices that help you Be Well with kindness and compassion as you journey forth.

BWBH’s Being with Grief sessions mindfully co-create a sustaining space to examine how loss impacts the body, mind and spirit. Explore a path of awareness through mindful listening, Reiki-infused meditation and compassionate conversation. Arrive to simply listen and feel cared for by those who understand that grieving is an on-going process. Here are some topics to be shared:

  • Seasons – managing the ebb and flow of the grieving process

  • Stepping Stones – taking our time to cope with heartbreak and change

  • Sensing our Stories – honoring relationships and memories

  • Self-care – finding ways to be kind to ourselves during times of grief

  • Simplicity – trying daily mindful practices for wellBeing

Please note: experiencing grief is not limited to losing a loved one, including pets. We might grieve the loss of our body’s way of Being, the life we had before illness, or a changing relationship. Perhaps we are grieving an aspect of our life lost due to Covid. All those experiencing grief of any kind are welcome.

FREE and for ALL with thanks to Be Well Be Here’s generous donors, who support our free online programming. Please join the BWBH community by offering your DONATION today. Thank you for helping us ALL find ways to Be Well and Be Here.

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

Gloria Herdt is a writer/poet, grief guide, Reiki II practitioner, energy intuitive, and medium. She is passionate about inspiring and empowering anyone who is struggling to navigate grief. Gloria knows first hand how painful grief can be, especially when it's coupled with mental health issues, chronic illness, or trauma. Having explored a variety of healing modalities and informally studying the scientific and spiritual aspects of grief, Gloria has come to understand some of the complexities of grief and is eager to share that wisdom with anyone who needs it. Gloria believes that while each grief experience is unique, there is a universal theme of love and support that everyone needs after loss.
