ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

Carla Leone, M.A. in Mindfulness, RYT-200, guides mindfulness practices with a particular dedication to those individuals in recovery. Her formal training in numerous forms of meditation, including Insight (vipassana) Meditation, Concentration Meditation, Loving-Kindness (metta) Meditation, Walking Meditation, and Body Scan Meditation as well as her deep learning of Yoga allows her to tailor sessions to the needs of those present. Carla shares this message: "After decades of abstinence from all forms of intoxicants, and living life on life’s terms through many joys and challenges, I have come to fully understand the central role that mindfulness-based practices play in maintaining serenity, courage, and wisdom. I am dedicated to helping people learn how to avoid the traps of craving and aversion, in order to live with more well-being."
