Love to Be outdoors? Boost your wellBeing with a mindful woodland walk in beautiful Concord, MA. BWBH’s Wellness Walks are based on the principles of Forest Bathing, or shinrin yoku, a Japanese practice of intentionally taking in the natural environment with all our senses.
As Japanese doctor and researcher, Qing Li, writes in his book, Forest Bathing: How Trees Can Help You Find Health and Happiness, “spending time in a forest can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and anger; strengthen the immune system; improve cardiovascular and metabolic health; and boost overall well-being” (Mind & Body, Aug 20, 2018). Mindful Wellness Walks also benefit the trees and our earth!
