Mindful Practice for First Responders

First Responders - we’re here to help you address the stress! Join Nicole Grant, long-time certified yoga therapist and practicing EMT working closely with law enforcement, for this simple online meditative practice. Designed for people who rarely sit still, this 30-minute session will balance systems of the body for cellular recovery and greater overall wellBEing.

Nicole Grant is a senior Yoga Instructor and Therapist certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT) and the Yoga Alliance (ERYT-500), as well as a Reiki Master in the Usui methodology and a certified Journey DanceTM Facilitator since 2015. Nicole founded Yoga Mandala in October 2001, and transitioned to the role of director of The Mandala Project in 2020, through which she offers Actionable Yoga Intensives and Immersions for continuing education credit through the Yoga Alliance and as part of an Advanced 300+ Hour Teacher & Leadership Training. She received her Trauma-Informed Yoga Training with Annie Kiel through Firefly Yoga International as well as Heart & Mind of Conflict Transformation training through the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation. A sought-after educator and speaker, Nicole was a featured presenter at the Interpersonal Institute’s Online Gifted Women Summit in 2020, and is the author of Yogini’s Dilemma: To Be or not To Be A Yoga Teacher (Morgan James, 2020). Skilled in co-creating interpersonal connections that empower individuals and systems to thrive, Nicole has helped thousands of people negotiate life’s stressors, develop resiliency, and feel seen, heard and valued. In 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic, she became a certified EMT, willing to take an active role in supporting wellBeing as a frontline medical professional. A mother of two young adults, Nicole also serves as a mentor for youth in foster care through Silver Linings Mentoring.
