Nina Englander was in college at Tufts when she first tried chiropractic for her chronic back pain. After a short time under regular chiropractic care, not only did her back issues resolve, stomach pains that she had experienced since childhood also disappeared. This was an incredible experience that changed her life and set her on the career path to becoming a chiropractor. Dr. Nina graduated from Tufts University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology, and moved out to Portland, Oregon to attend Western States Chiropractic College where she earned her chiropractic degree in 1992. She had private practices in both Oregon and Tennessee before moving to the Boston area in 1999. She has completed post-graduate education in working with children and pregnant women (as well as on-the-job training as a mom!) which gives her a special touch working with prenatal patients and infants. She combines several adjusting techniques such as Koren Specific Technique (KST) and Applied Kinesiology, as well as various other forms of bodywork and she is certified in the Webster Technique for care during pregnancy. She also works with nutrition and detoxification to help facilitate the healing process. Dr. Nina lives in Acton with her husband, two children and chocolate lab.

Julie Ramsdell is the founder of Fifth Chakra Energy (www.fifthchakraenergy.com) and a certified practitioner of Biofield Tuning, a sound therapy that uses the physics-based principals of frequency, resonance and entrainment to help the body discharge blocked energy from stress in order to repair and balance itself. A Reiki Master trained in the Usui lineage, Julie combines energy healing and sound/vibrational practices to address underlying root cause issues, guiding practices that release the mind and body from stress, pain, anxiety, depression and general "stuckness.” MBSR trained, Julie served as an instructor for Uplift, an online based in-person meditation group in Boston and regularly gives presentations on meditation and mindfulness. As an intuitive energy reader for humans and animals, she acts as a coach for those who wish to tap into the vast source of energetic knowledge and guidance available to all. Julie recently received certification in Restorative Yoga, and holds an MS in Communication from Boston.

Lara Wilson, Be Well Be Here’s founder, has been a writer, teacher and meditator for over 35 years. She has co-created mindful wellness practices with cancer patients, struggling students, teachers, parents, school communities, young athletes, disabled individuals, architects, celebrated authors, medical professionals, bankers, CEOs, children, artists, even dogs and horses. Lara holds a Master's Degree in English & American Literature, a Graduate Certificate in Mindfulness Studies, and certification in Restorative Yoga (RYT-200) and Reiki Level II. She continually trains in a variety of mindful wellness fields, including meditation, experiential learning, embodied social justice, healing energy, trauma awareness, qigong, Buddhist studies, and movement practices for healing. Following a two-year cancer journey, Lara deepened her personal practices through principles of experiential integration, learning from myriad global mindful wellness experts. She regularly shares this wisdom with private clients as well as at conferences, wellness centers, corporate retreats, yoga studios, libraries, schools and in nature. Lara’s personal experiences with integrative healing have been included in medical case studies, and were featured in an article about cancer, connection and community in the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine written by a core faculty member of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Her 2020 essay about dealing with cancer during Covid was published on WBUR’s Cognoscenti.
