Forest Bathing Woodland Walks with CCACE

  • Hapgood Wright Town Forest Concord MA (map)

Nature immersion practice every Friday morning in April with Concord Carlisle Adult & Community Education (CCACE)

Enhance your wellBeing outdoors with Forest Bathing, or shinrin yoku, a Japanese practice of intentionally taking in the natural environment through the senses. As Japanese doctor and researcher, Qing Li, writes in his book, Forest Bathing: How Trees Can Help You Find Health and Happiness, “spending time in a forest can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and anger; strengthen the immune system; improve cardiovascular and metabolic health; and boost overall well-being.” Join Be Well Be Here founder and lifelong dendrophile, Lara Wilson, for this mindful in-the-moment practice and replenish in nature. Forest Bathing benefits your entire Being, one another, our communities - even the trees and the earth!
