Full Moon Restorative Yoga SOLD OUT

SOLD OUT FULL MOON RESTORATIVE YOGA PRACTICE:

guided IN-PERSON by Nicole A Grant, MS, C-IAYT, E-RYT500

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2021 Big Winter Moon, aka Full Cold Moon in Gemini

The Full Moon invites us to move gently, quietly and compassionately into the loving well-space of our own Being. In Astrology, full moons are all about endings; they shine their light on the past month so we can each take stock, settle the fray within our Nervous Systems, and identify the sticky places in our body and in our life through the reflective practice of vitarka and vicāra, which are initial elements, or qualities, of meditation.  Each lunation carries the traits of the zodiac sign in which it falls, and also tends to align with seasonal happenings, thought to be derived from a mix of Native North American, Anglo-Saxon, and Germanic month names.

Join us to release “doing” in favor of “Being”. Together, we will align ourselves with Earth energy and bring that awareness into intentionality in our mindful practices and lives.

$33 for this IN-PERSON yoga practice at BWBH’s Fresh Air Studio in rural Concord, MA

Details and directions will be sent upon registration. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid.

Be Well Be Here’s work is grounded in an unwavering commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression. We offer scholarships and subsidized fees to share practice with ALL.

IN-PERSON YOGA PRACTICE FOR ALIGNMENT & WELL-BEING

Guided by Nicole A Grant, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, EMT

FRIDAYS JULY 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2021

9:15 – 10:30 AM at Be Well Be Here Retreat Space Studio

These explorations of ritual breath and movement through yoga methodology asks the student to turn their attention inwards, bringing about a meditative state while working with the body, specifically the spine and back. With a strong focus on structural and energetic alignment, this practice gives the student evidence-based techniques to take healing into their own hands. Begin to notice how intentional change impacts the deepest layers of Being - physical, emotional-energetic, mental and spiritual. Yoga is a lifelong journey that honors your individuality and where you are along this path.

Life is busy. Life is chaotic. Life is dramatic, sometimes traumatic, and often completely unapologetic. There is much we have little control over; however, we CAN choose to engage mindfully, rather than avoiding or negating our momentary reality. Let us practice yoga to celebrate what it means to bring ourselves back into alignment with the self and our relationships as we seek joy in this wild, precious life.

May we, as students, not only be willing but inspired to heal our individual, generational and community wounds to Be Well and Be Here and extend much needed change in the world. Classes will be held in the serene studio space in historic Concord, MA.

$33. All levels welcome. Details and directions will be sent after registration.

Yoga practice is a fundamental practice of self-inquiry. Nicole frames each practice using the Chakra Model of Subtle Energy to bring the experience of energy flow and somatic intelligence (our body’s wisdom) into all aspects of daily living. She works with very specific tools and techniques of yoga methodology to make this practice as accessible and inclusive as humanly possible - whether you are completely new to yoga, have physical or other limitations, or are an adept yogin who seeks to advance their practice of curiosity.
