Meditation for Recovery

When fear and uncertainty arise, we all seek pleasure and avoid pain - sometimes suffering even more with addictive patterns that we hoped would ease our difficulties. In recovery, we pause. We abstain from escaping through addiction. We create present time awareness. We attend to our inner worlds and make space. We cultivate compassion. We heal, one breath at a time. Join us for this 4-session meditation series with MBSR facilitator, Laura Regis, on Tuesday, March 10,17, 24 and 31 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. We'll begin with a short reading, engage in a guided meditation, and reflect on our experiences in community.

All are welcome - please drop in and bring a friend. Donations are appreciated but not required.
