Meditation for Recovery*

Meditation for Recovery continues this fall - sign up for the session on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 7:30 pm.

Now more than ever, we all can be driven by fear and uncertainty. In this space, it's natural to cling to pleasure and avoid pain - so much, sometimes, that we find ourselves suffering with addictive patterns that we believe might ease our difficulties. In recovery, we pause. We abstain from escaping through addiction. We create present time awareness. We attend to our inner worlds and find space to cultivate compassion. We heal, one breath at a time.

Join experienced meditator and teacher, Laura Regis, for live online Meditation for Recovery. Together, we will do a short reading (poem, ancient wisdom text, or recovery content), engage in a guided meditation, and reflect on our experiences in community.

*recovery is a process not limited to those who identify as addicts; we invite all people who would like to cultivate a practice of self-awareness and healing to join us.
