Compassionate Conversation about Race & Change

In honor of Juneteenth, Be Well Be Here invites you to engage in Compassionate Conversation about Race & Change. Led by DEI communication consultant, Gihanah Seb-Di Dio, this FREE virtual workshop utilizes the power of emotion and storytelling to jumpstart the self-journey through identity and anti-racism. Please join us on Zoom as we work to create a learning space that values community, engaged support, and the act of being present amidst the fight for racial justice.

This thoughtful experiential session will include a short mindful meditation guided by mindfulness specialist and addiction counselor, Charity Collier, to foster greater community connection.

Gihanah Seb-Di Dio (she/her) is a recent Lesley University graduate who has served in numerous positions that focus with intention on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. Having done this work since she was a young teen, Gihanah believes in the power of connection and community to foster environments where people feel supported in the journey towards a future that is inclusive, equitable, and just.

Charity Collier is a meditation practitioner and teacher whose mission is to change the stigma around meditation and bring mindfulness meditation to everyone in the least intimidating manner. Charity holds a master’s degree in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University, and a B.A. in Exercise Physiology with a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling from UMass Boston. Charity combines her education of the human body and addiction to share a mindfulness approach that not only serves clients dealing with addiction, but benefits the everyday person seeking a path to greater well-being.
