The Practice of Presence: Preventing Parental Burnout

The Practice of Presence with the Concord Free Public Library

Preventing Parental Burnout Wednesday, February 24 at 7 - 8 pm

The Covid crisis challenges us all, particularly parents who might work at home, act as teachers, and struggle to keep their families safe, well and (relatively) calm during a pandemic. Join CFPL's The Practice of Presence program on February 24 to discuss mindful ways to prevent parental burnout in an age of increasing anxiety. Be Well Be Here founder Lara Wilson will be in conversation with Kendra Wilde, founder of Wild Peace for Parents, to share insights into how we can mitigate stress, engage in self-care, and support our family's wellbeing. Learn practical tips and mindful micro-actions that can be incorporated into daily life, and experiment with a few simple mindful wellness practices. You might even get a better night's sleep!
