Full Moon Restorative Yoga SOLD OUT

SOLD OUT FULL MOON RESTORATIVE YOGA PRACTICE:

guided IN-PERSON by Nicole A Grant, MS, C-IAYT, E-RYT500

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2021 Big Winter Moon, aka Full Cold Moon in Gemini

The Full Moon invites us to move gently, quietly and compassionately into the loving well-space of our own Being. In Astrology, full moons are all about endings; they shine their light on the past month so we can each take stock, settle the fray within our Nervous Systems, and identify the sticky places in our body and in our life through the reflective practice of vitarka and vicāra, which are initial elements, or qualities, of meditation.  Each lunation carries the traits of the zodiac sign in which it falls, and also tends to align with seasonal happenings, thought to be derived from a mix of Native North American, Anglo-Saxon, and Germanic month names.

Join us to release “doing” in favor of “Being”. Together, we will align ourselves with Earth energy and bring that awareness into intentionality in our mindful practices and lives.

$33 for this IN-PERSON yoga practice at BWBH’s Fresh Air Studio in rural Concord, MA

Details and directions will be sent upon registration. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid.

Be Well Be Here’s work is grounded in an unwavering commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression. We offer scholarships and subsidized fees to share practice with ALL.

New Year New Yoga

Warm yourself with new possibilities this winter! Join master yoga therapist Nicole Grant, ERYT-500, for online restorative yoga and breathwork (pranayama) beginning in January 2021. Shed the stress and engage in meaningful practice to heal, restore and energize your entire Being. Begin anew in 2021!

Runs Tuesdays beginning January 19 at 6:30 - 7:15 pm

$22 for one session OR $77 for all four sessions

1/19 ANCHORING: Let’s work with our yoga to – metaphorically - scratch the ground, dig a little into the cold hard soil, add water and plant your seed(s) for 2021.

1/26 SHIFTING: Now it’s time to breath in the light, longer days and the cool, fresh air; to embrace the dark contemplative nature of night; and to bring ourselves into conscious presence with the subtle movement of our breath and the somatic intelligence of our body and transmute the way we feel.

2/2 GROWING: Our roots for 2021 take hold as we explore the kindred heart, drawing on the air that we breathe and the movement of our body to re-discover the rhythms and rituals that nourish our self and our soul from the sanctuary of our own space out into the world.

2/9 FLOWERING: Now, the seeds we have planted begin to flower from within of self-blessing. May we hold each other in friendship and grace and, together, breathe new life force, creativity and healing into 2021.

Biofield Tuning is a sound therapy that uses the physics-based principals of frequency, resonance and entrainment to help the body recognize its own distortion, discharge blocked energy, and return to clarity and health. Using tuning forks, the Biofield Tuning practitioner releases static caused by stress, and invites the body to repair and balance itself.

Restorative Yoga / Yoga Nidra Level I Workshop

  • Google Calendar ICS

Be Well Be Here collaborates with Maureen Miller of Yoga NH to offer Restorative Yoga / Yoga Nidra Level I Workshop for yoga teachers and enthusiasts. This 2-part weekend series is offered on:

Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11:00 am - 5:00 pm & Sunday, Oct. 13 at 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The RY-YN, Level I Workshop is open to all – you do not have to be a yoga teacher or teacher-in-training to attend. Join us to learn new ways to enrich your personal practice, and/or share the benefits with family and friends. Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra contribute to reduced stress, enhance happiness and joy, and integrate the body-mind-spirit in ways that help us face life’s challenges with a positive mindset.

As Maureen shares, “The point of this practice is to learn that we can be more still and reduce the negative impact of a go-go-go life on the nervous system. The practices of RY and YN help reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase calmness in the body, mind and emotions. Once people experience RY and/or YN, they understand how much yoga has to offer beyond postures - and typically make the choice to integrate these practices into their daily lives on a regular basis for greater well-being.”

  • The history and benefits of RY

  • The 8 Limbs of Yoga

  • The Koshas
